Good Morning Everyone

Brian McDermott is not on holiday. He is at his mothers bedside at a hospital in the South of England!!!

We also know that Cellino has not tried to get in contact with him, other by email, to which, McDermott emailed back.

This is sure to make the already the already strained relationship almost untenable.



Cellino will face questions from the Football League next week about his decision to close Thorp Arch.

The League will examine whether we are in breach of the newly-implemented Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP).

EPPP is the youth development scheme initiated by the Premier League and applied to academies across the country. United’s academy secured category two status – the second highest classification – towards the end of the recent Championship season and received £490,000 to spend on the production of junior players.


The cull has well and truly begun.

This afternoon its the turn of the players. We have already heard that Diouf, Ashdown and the Turner twins have left the club. Many, many more are sure to follow....

Think we're in for an interesting few weeks. Why did the Turner twins get the push? Not going to make the grade at Leeds?

Morning Boggers, I was thinking of another, but I do like that one.

Suppose the TT's were not making the grade. They had been at Leeds for 14 years. Sometimes a new start is needed to get out of a rut?

Morning all. Everything proceeding at Leeds as expected really. This summer alas will get far more attention likely for the cutbacks than the signings.

Massivo and Piccolo are drawing up the retained list and ignoring McD, so its a bit worrying because it seems clear that Piccolo will be our next manager ... Massivo is clearly trying to force McD out, but his tactics are appalling, in fact disgraceful ... Carbone will fcuk us up big time, and I really don't understand his appointment at the club ... only reason for hiring Piccolo is that he will report back on players in training, and Cellino will be selecting the team and tactics based on Carbone's "expert advice" ... oh fcuk me, when we get nobbed every week Piccolo will get blamed and sacked, and the next clown will be brought in to be guillotined when Cellino loses patience ... is Cellino going to be right for our club? Answers on a straitjacket please

Looking forward to the retained list just out of pure curiosity. It's pretty damning that BMD hasn't been consulted on it, I expect if Cellino finds a cheap way of doing so, Brian won't be the manager for our first pre season friendly.

As for the Turner Twins being released, theres always a feeling that we should retain our players coming up through the youth, but at 21 and after 14 years they haven't been pushing the first team so it's probably the right call to let them move on now and concentrate on our younger youth.

Billy, I wont say I'm not a little concerned. No more blind faith is what I have learnt the hard way and some of this moves so far have been questionable. But he has a hell of a rebuilding task on his hands, but there is a faint warning bell going off somewhere in the back of my brain. GFH/Bates did leave us in a right state proof will be in the signings/results I guess.

Hope McDermott gets the West Brom job. Win win to everyone involved
 
@Gary Cooper .. listened to the talksh1t interview, very disappointed, here's why ... hack said that "McD has had the temerity to go on holiday at the end of the season" and you missed the clear dig at the manager and the club, basically saying McD has no respect for Leeds by doing this and doesn't care about next season ... you then proceeded to waffle on about results and emails from members adking whats going on, so it seemed as if you supported the hack and Cellino ... you really should have stopped the hack right there!

Agree bucks, if McD goes to WBA at least he'll have a fair chance, and we get some compensation, or maybe Cellino lets him go on a free

Some of you make me laugh on here. We get the first owner who actually knows how to run a football club and has a proven record at doing so for over 20 years and some of you have given him less time than you gave GFH/BATES who destroyed us nearly, FFS <doh>

Scouting players = check
Balancing the books = check
Never taking a club into administrating = check
Making tuff staffing decisions = check

Until he gives me something to doubt he is the best man for the job he has my full support.

Couldn't agree more. Seems people need something to worry about by second guessing what's going to happen, but only in a negative way.
