Good Morrow from a sunny Bardsey Just a thought on why Cellino has brought in lawyers from London I think its to see if he can sack BM without costing thje club money and also to look into other contracts with the like of Norris Hunt and all the other hangers on
I don't know about looking to sack BMD, but looking for get out clauses or ways to move players on for minimal cost seems a fair spot.
My understanding was the lawyers are here to look at the whole financial state of the club and the possible legal ramifications resulting from actions either already taken or to be taken gents, much broader than just players or the managers contracts?
Did MS say anything about when or if he was going to buy ER. Would be interesting to find out how much our operating costs would be if MS owned ER?
Gary, the trust statement yesterday didn't make positive reading to be honest. Did Cellino seem confident he can actually turn things around or are the debts completely unmanageable. I realise, theres only so much you can divulge, but I have to say I didn't get anything positive from that statement. I take it the players and managers contracts are included though Gary?
I actually think thats one of the funniest things he's posted. Its a very true statement really, where are players supposed to train during the off season, ridiculous to be playing for a club the size of leeds and not be able to go somewhere away from the public eye to kick a ball about.
White is our longest serving player and still hasn't broken into the team. If he hasn't done it by now then he never will. Taylor seems a better prospect than him and he is younger. I feel like the best thing not only for Leeds but also White is if he moves on. He might actually make a player under a decent coach willing to take some time with him but he isn't going to make it here.
He could always use Rod Stewart's mansion here in Essex, full sized football pitch and Strachan's mates with Rod the mod. When Strachan was playing I remember Leeds United using Stewart's gaff for a training session before a game at West Ham I believe it was.
Fair point Josh. We're not doing very well at LB. Ben Parker broke into the team and is now plying his trade with Ouagadoogoospor or someone of equal significance. As you say, White hs been far from regular in the team over the last couple of years, and he has the one thing we're really lacking; pace.
No point in having pace if you have no idea what to do with a football though, otherwise every 100m runner would be fantastic footballers
