I'm pretty sure we're just paying him for a year's vacation now. Just end his contract already and let him leave
Morning all my fellow masochists ... that kid Hitchcock didn't just score three on Saturday, they were three class goals, I'd get him in and develop him ... Bamford from Chelsea should also be a priority, the kid can play for sure ... we need a commanding leader at the back, can see an Italian thug coming in to fill that role ... I am looking forward to the summer, its going to be fun waving goodbye to the dross ... Laudrup would be a superb appointment, but can't see that happening ... Zola no way, he can't do this job ... it may well be Cellino is waiting for end of season so he can see which managers are sacked and available, and this will probably include one Gustavo Poyet Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Bamford certainly looked the part for MK Dons earlier in the season. How has he been performing with Derby ?
If Derby win the playoffs (more than plausible) chances are they'll sign him on loan in the Premiership. Even if they don't, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the promoted clubs took him on loan next season. I'd rather we signed permanent players than loanees anyway.
Accounts filed at Companies House have led to new revelations about Leeds United. GFH Capital sold half its stake to an unnamed party between March and June last year before buying it back in December 2013, reaching 85 per cent ownership. This meant that there was no 'controlling party' of the club for at least six months.
If its true that 8 thousand are going to Barnsley away then Brian needs sacking now so someone else can make an impact just for that game...
Was it just me that for the first time ever didn't give a **** about the result and performance. I am so chuffed that at long last we have a proper owner that last night didn't matter because most of that lot will be gone, including the staff. BMcD is getting boring now as I'm sick to death of him saying it was a horror show, it was embarrassing, we don't run anymore and leave runners to walk through us ...... Brian those players have lost respect for you otherwise they would be pulling their plugs out. The last and only time this season we put on a display you weren't there mate, so what does that tell you? Sorry Brian but I thought you would be the man who stayed with us for years, but you now have the worst results of any manager in living memory and we have just sat back and taken it up the crack of the arse. I see Warnock is putting himself in the frame as he said he has worked with Italians before. Grayson may be an ideal candidate here because he had the passion and if he hadn't have had his team sold from under him he would have had us back to back promotions. That was the last time I saw some good football and we were in league 1 forfuckssake
Think most people are past caring. Hard to believe enough of the teams below us will pick up enough points to relegate us, so nothing to play for nothing to have interest in. Losing every week gets a bit boring after a while. You get numb to it.
Hull City's bid to have their name changed to "Hull Tigers" has been rejected by the FA Council. Hull owner Assem Allam has wanted to force the name change through for some time, although he has met much resistance from Tigers supporters. However, the FA's Membership Committee unanimously recommended that the plans be turned down last month, and the governing body confirmed on Wednesday that its Council has also rejected the application. A statement released on the FA's official website read: "The FA Council has today rejected Hull City's application to change their playing name to Hull Tigers.
Zola's agent, Fulvio Marrucco, is adamant that Cellino will not be installing Zola, who resigned as Watford boss in December. "Absolutely not. But I think we will see him back on a bench in England soon enough, rather than back in Italy," he told Press Association Sport. "The one thing I can tell you today is that Zola will not be Leeds' coach for next season."
@TheSquareBall: Cellino is currently drinking in the Peacock if anybody fancies meeting the new guy. #LUFC
Sorry wicks, but if you heard the TalkSport interview Kissa posted, you will hear the twat talking about how he was shafted by bates, shafted by GFH, shafted by Haigh but quite liked him as someone he could work with. Cellino is no worse than Palladino at QPR and looked forward to working with the Italian, so Cellino holds no fears for him???? So Warnock twat can get off his arse to turn up in London to go on air, but couldn't be arsed to go to TA to try and do some coaching then?
