Morning Oldfrenchhorn. You secretly love Leeds don't ya?? Good to see you!!! Big shout out to fatboyslim, rear admiral, xbpod and Wicks!!!
Love Leeds! I wouldn't put it quite like that. My grandson lives near the City and loves it when he gets invited to the club to meet players. As a 10 year old all of the in fighting makes no impression on him. Having just watched what has finally come out about our previous owner in the High Court, I am not surprised at what goes on behind the scenes at football clubs. We have been lucky to get some football people in charge now, but the finances have been easier to sort out as the sums involved are much smaller. The trouble is that as fans we have no say. All we can do is stand on the side line and watch people with money try to make a quick buck. Why they choose football is beyond me.
Finally got around to a separate twitter account from the one I use for work and stuff. Found a few of you and followed already, I'm @DamnedUnited_
I thought we all love Leeds??? I know what you are saying, but it always seems to happy at Leeds? Whats it like having Italian owners at Watford?

Another really really **** penalty from McCormack. Tonge or Warnock should take them if available. Or anyone really!
To be fair they do not interfere with the running of things, rather different to the reports about your would be owner. Things are different because they know how to run clubs without losing money hand over fist. The idea you can buy success does not appear in their handbook, they find cheap players with potential, some make it and others don't. The ones who achieve get sold on for large sums, but it does make for a steady turn around and none of them are paid huge wages. They are investing for the future, not a short term fix.
Bit fed up at the moment, going to hospital this afternoon for follow up meeting with doc after 18 months of treatment for cancer. And the worst thing is I'm more worried about how LUFC are doing at the moment, they're certainly not helping with my recovery !!! Took my lad to his first games a couple of years ago. It literally brought tears to my eyes watching him sing "Marching On Together" before his very first home match. I told him we'd get up to Elland Road more in the future, then I got diagnosed so have not been able to keep my promise. The sad thing is, he's been a very passionate Leeds fan from the age of five (he's now ten) in an area made up of Chelsea, Arsenal and Scum fans (we live in the South East) and for the first time ever he said to me the other day "Dad, why are Leeds so rubbish ?". My heart sank, and it pains me to think he might get put off by all this bullshit that's going on at the moment (although obviously the only **** he sees is on the pitch). My treatment is almost finished now and fingers crossed I'll start slowly getting my energy back. I was looking forward to going to matches again. Question is, will my lad be coming with me ?
