I can't see it getting resolved before tomorrow. If they are insisting he's on the hook for it, there is no way he's just going to say "Oh alright then" and hand over the cash. Dark days are looming again...
The contract between Cellino and GFH has nothing to do with Leeds Utd. GFH own Leeds Utd. and are soley responsible for wages. If Cellino doesnt pay then GFH cant pay the wages simples Cellino has no ties with Leeds Utd or contracts with Leeds Utd
Cellino can push Leeds into admin to put pressure on the FL ... but it means Byram and Ross are exposed to cheap sales Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
In housing terms, once you exchange contracts, you are legally reponsible, though the monies generally go accross on completion
if the FA were still to make a decision then Celino would probably pay the wages but he has been turned down so quite rightly why should he pay im sure any contract between Cellino and GFH about paying up till sept was all depending of the FA accepting Cellino thats probably why haigh said admin was not possible but now the "GOAL POSTS" have been moved.Cellino has said he will appeal the decision fair play to him but he is not going to pay anymore dosh until the result im sure.that means he probably wont ask GFH for his dosh back until after the appeal but in the meantime whos going to pay the wages as someone else said it could spell the end of Ross or Byram to cover the costs until a new buyer is found or Admin. Not forgetting at some point Cellino will want his dosh back too....
We've been watched by 71,000 people since the last pay day,so where's that money gone + program sales, sponsorship and merchandise sales, having 3 home games this month money should not be a problem.
No its not we only have 8,000 season ticket holders.Last seasons income was 34 million with a wage bill of 17 million even if its gone up 7 million which I find hard to believe still think it should be impossible to be losing 1 million a week. The numbers don't add up.
Your mukka, soppy bollock Steve knocked it out of my hand trying to nick my wallet, the thieving barsteward
It's now all over the BBC that the club are scrambling about to try and raise funds to pay the players wages on Friday. They are going after Cellino, what a ****ing joke GFH are and how that ****ing nobend Haigh conned nearly as many fans as Bates did is beyond me. These ****ers have gambled with our money and anyone elses just to give themselves a nice profit. They said **** you all we want the cash and **** the team. The FL should be culpable for this and are now sitting back drinking Pimms whilst our club goes into administration, when they had the power to do something about it. For the first time ever they knocked a potential owner back ...... why because they've let enough con men, shysters, rapists, fraudsters, money launderers and mafioso types in, why now
Given tonight's other breaking story your description of Haigh as a nobend would appear to be accurate
Can't understand why Cellino would sign a contract to say he would pay wages for 6 months even if he failed in an attempt to purchase us? If GFH believed this was the case it would explain why Stewart, Kebe, Wickham and Butland were given green lights. What a shambles, sick of it all...
If Cellino signed that without an escape clause if he failed fl test, he is one dumb **** and deserves to lose his money. Don't think he is though
Could be a (seemingley bad) play by GFH to try and force the FL to open the door to a quick appeal to the FL though - LUFC needs the ownership exchange to go through. Will GFH really do this? If they allow admin, they will get nothing back - a quick firesale of the club to Farnan, Radebe, Pearson, Together Leeds, Bates or any of the others could be on the cards. Local businesses and investors are going to be shafted, Haigh has either shown his complete incompetence or never had any influence over his masters, and we will likely be docked 15 points minimum for going into admin for a second time in such a short period, with all the implications that has. Looks increasingly possible we could be joining Millwall next year - we do seem to be joined at the hip. But will we get a good strong British ownership out of it?
