Having Butland and Wickham will have an impact on how we are performing. Imagine if we can grab the last play off spot on the last game of the season
Would take some doing. They'd need about 46 points from last 14 games. Even with their limited iq"s the wallies have probably sussed that won't happen Jock
If it meant the FA making sure that Leeds didn't get promoted, I'm sure it could be made to happen somehow. Or am I just a mistrusting cynic?
No you're not. Im sure there are a couple at the fa, fl or whatever that would have been happy to see us in admin or wound up
I think that's why they're dragging their heals with Cellino. they want us to go under I still don't get what the **** it has got to do with them who takes over, its **** all to do with them in my opinion ****ing set of bastards
One date that made me a little suspicious was yesterdays statement said next meeting of fl would be March 13, just four days before Flowers (lifelong great Leeds fan) windup petition was to be heard. That has now been settled with Cellino paying the 1.5 million to Flowers Enterprise outfit. Surely one more stumbling block to the deal removed OLOF
Don't get too carried away by the Flowers situation. He may have got his money, but he has not yet withdrawn his wind up order and will not until outstanding issues have been resolved (whatever that means).
I think the removal of that stumbling block will piss the FL off even more now Eire, and they make a few more rules up as they go along
Where did you get the info from Eire? I can see references to it on other forums but all seem to be rumour-based. Great if it's true, and it suggests that Cellino is increasingly confident that the FL will ratify.
Phil Hay tweeted it today around same time as Wickham story. Got overshadowed by the Wickham business thing I think. As Jock correctly pointed out, winding up order not yet withdrawn but that is a formality as money has been repaid. Would be pointless proceeding
