Seems the scummer Farnan is trying to throw a spanner in the works and his toys out of the pram http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spor...keover-faces-fresh-farnan-challenge-1-6430384
I am now totally lost as to who is with which consortium, I know that Haigh was part of one or two and now under Cellino he has managed a promotion of sorts I wonder what pole his flag is tied to.
If Cellino & GFH have exchanged contracts, the only way that can change is if the FL confirm that Cellino doesn't pass their fit and proper persons test. Anything less would be a breach of contract.
Under contract law, the FL can do absolutely nothing to break this contract, so this is just a thinly-veiled appeal for the FL to deem that Cellino is 'unfit'. Simple as that. I can't believe they'd sink so low. Not exactly bursting with integrity, are they? Then again, which players in this sorry soap are?
You could not make it what has happened to us in the past few days so I wouldn't rule anything out yet, the FL don't exactly like us much anyway. Personally I think it is as good as done and dusted but who knows....
One of Farnan's backers is an anonymous resident of Monaco Don't this lot realise that we don't want them? We've had enough of piss poor owners and consortiums
But can he run faster backwards than forwards. That's why mighty fits in so well over there. Boom boom.
Haigh has not "been with every consortium" ... he led the SC bid with Flowers, pumped millions of his own money in to help the club ... then he met with Cellino who looked at joining SC, but instead decided he wanted the full 75% for himself ... SC were then asked about joining forces with Together Leeds, but decided against this (could be Cellino asked Haigh to resist and join him in running Leeds instead) ... now Haigh retains a share in Leeds, and Cellino has appointed him as CEO because he feels he can work with Haigh and they share a common goal ... this continued character assassination of Haigh is quite unnecessary and we need to understand that Haigh has done a lot for Leeds, and will now work closely with Cellino to push us on ... the media has been chucking darts at Haigh because they are malicious little fcuks, well they can fcuk off now, Leeds are ready to move on Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
yes glory, yes .... but in the process has still done a lot for our club, and I expect will continue to do so ... don't ever expect us to have owners who will be running the club out of charity for us, regardless of who owns us they will have their own agendas ... at least Haigh did something Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
You are going to have to help me with that? He nearly killed the club, and tried to acquire it on the cheap for his mates.
Wonder where Haigh's money came from to loan to Leeds (at 7% too, I understand!)? Odd that he didn't have it when GFH went cap in hand to Bates.
Personally I don't see what he has done apart from fail to find an appropriate investor before things got desperate, I bet there are lots of people who would like 7% interest.
