Chippy, whilst you are of course entitled to your view, at least make it informed and educated. Sharp is a class act who has scored twice in the last two games. He put in a shift and the team benefitted as a result. Who would you have played instead?
With the greatest of respect. Sharp puts a shift in for twenty minutes. But he wouldn't have played for leeds again after his Twitter outburst two weeks ago If our coach wasnt an idiot. Instead coach clueless rewards him for undermining his authority by putting him the starting eleven. I would have picked YOU before Sharp got a game.
Cheers Chippy. Still think Sharp has a major contribution to make. But your point on his needless tweet is well made.
I'm with Chippy, Redders seems to be predictable most of time. Sharp has complained about 3 times I think and Redders has played him on every occasion. Morison has complained from memory and he got picked. Media asked Redders about Adryan, Adryan was put on bench, then took off it for next game. Redders complains about not having width, but refuses to play Duke, Adryan or Monty who can all play on wings, even Antenucci can too. Redders mentioned he wasn't picking his favourites after many on articles were mentioning it. Redders must read articles. Redders talks up all his favourites. Redders talks up virtually every game saying we played well enough to take the 3 points. Redders said he thinks he's done enough and deserves a contract extension for next season; he reminds me of McContract. Redders talks up everything, realistically he's talking up himself. If Redders had done enough, and was good enough then I think his contract would've been renegotiated by now. Redders reminds me a lot of McDermott.
Could be worse, could have Hollowhead,he claims they have been great every game when they lose 4-0,talks like they are top of the league, convinced some gullible wallies they were great too, took them 12 months to see the light,a bit slow our wally friends.
Morning lads, hope we get a win today, but you never can tell. I agree 60 we should have kept Smith. Would have done the job Morrison has been doing but also scored some goals. Would have saved us getting another import we aren't going to play.
Regardless of the odd memorable match in that era I have to say the '80's were a depressing time for a Leeds fan. I don't remember them fondly by any stretch of the imagination. We'd gone from being the best club side in Europe to playing the likes of Shrewsbury and Oxford United in the old Second Division in the space of seven years, with no real sign of a return to the top flight until Wilko. To me that time was even worse than going from Champions League Semi Finalists to League One in seven years. The likes of Baird, Ormsby etc may well have been Leeds United heroes at the time, and good for them, but having average players like them as heroes compared to the team we had a decade previously I found hard to take. Thank **** Wilko came along in the nick of time to take us back to where we belonged.

Yes, agree, that's why it was a hard earned apprenticeship. Cos I'm from down sarf, often get told you chose Leeds for the glory years. Honestly don't remember them and the era above was the one I went through when first following them. So feel I earned me stripes in those days. Unlike plastic Scummers, many of whom live around here. Even saw a parked car in the next road with a feckin FC Scummer of Utd sticker!!
