Cooper will be getting a three game ban when that is reviewed. Now, if Pontus has a hamstring pull that is bad news. However now we are short at the back if he makes a miraculous recovery it will be questioned did he pull out due to being named on the bench.
No we didn't mate, Reading got the rub of the green in my opinion, they weren't that much better than us. just had the better chances
Two good teams that slogged it out, A draw would be a fair result but when is anything fair in football......Home advantage edged it...
Is that the same Roofe who single handedly knocked your flops out of the cup a few seasons ago matey?
I think we lost that game cos Reading were also playing us through middle, they seemed to have the better of us from centre spot towards our goal. Most of their passes were quick and sharp and for most of game they seemed to know where their players were. Reading had 55% of possession and 8 shots on target, with one hitting the back of onion bag. Funnily enough, we had 10 shots at goal but only 2 on target, we also had 6 corners which we didn't convert into anything. Reading's defence seemed to be on par during this game. I thought Berardi had a good game in his favourite position, Hernandez played well imo, despite what Popey says, but no one was there to pop it in net, Wood did very little and Bartley looks like he plays with complacency sometimes. Not much from Vieira in this game and thought during first half Sacko wouldn't last the whole game. Cooper lucky not to get sent off, but it is arguable whether he stood on Oxfords head accidently or intently; both the ref and the linesman obviously didn't think it was intentional, which will go in Coopers favour if there is a review. Wasn't a brilliant performance from us, we really need to up our game as we get closer to playoff finals, based on that performance, and previous others, we won't win the playoff finals, and if we do get promoted, we're going to get hammered in prem. Just listening to Popey interviewing Monk, he asked about Jansson for next game, Monk made a good swerve in answering Popeys question. Whatever people think, Monk doesn't seem to have a plan B, in any game.....
Not too upset at that result mate, plus i'm still laughing my 'nads off at the Udders going down to 96th minute goal, ****ing karma or what, did your lads play today, seriously, ive been working so haven't checked all the results yet
Bloody hell i agree again.just one thing though.take a look at our bench and where is the plan B.we do not have one.midfield is not good enough for us to go up.like you posted they were playing through us.
No idea what Pope said about Hernandez but he was poor, watch his missed chances back. I'm not saying they were the easiest of chances but if Hernandez was just half as good as some believe he should have done better. Some of his passing first half was woeful too and his corners were nothing special today either, I agree about them cutting us through the middle though. Funnily enough I said to my mate during the first half how come we have two CBs two defensive midfield players yet we are still getting cut through like a knife in butter. Last 30 minutes we looked much better but without any genuine threat. Not the end of the world but the Pontus situation isn't looking good in the slightest. Just a hunch but I'm pretty sure Pontus wasn't happy about being on the bench again so called a sickie, I just hope suspensions and niggly problems are not going to cost us. Regarding Cooper word was the ref and linesman never saw it, hence no card. Sky seemed certain a 3 match suspension looming, it wasn't an accident, he was a lucky man.
