<doh> and there's England's problem in a nutshell talking as if they'd already reached the quarter final to 'stuff' France

Too overconfident and a misplaced arrogance, pretty sure Iceland would've read similar comments from pundits and media beforehand, how England were lucky to avoid Portugal because it meant an easy route to the latter stages.

Disrespectful and at the same time inspiring to the opposition, 'twas always thus

Silver lining is woy has finally ****ed off, one of the worse England managers for a very long time. Cannot see any reason why he has been kept this long.

Rooney was ****ing awful, misplaced so many passes, doesn't move off the ball and a complete liability in defence. Can't afford to carry a player like that especially in the heart of midfield. I was a big fan of Kane but he has pissed me off so much in this tournament, incapable of taking a freekick.

Until today, I thought we had played pretty well. The 11 on the pitch today were a disgrace, deserved to lose and so the circle continues.

The PL is hugely over rated. Recent performances in cl by English teams are proof of that. Those players tonight are not world beaters or anything close. Not just woys fault, the players are poor

Got to say, the ITV media coverage still suggesting England should have steamrolled them is disrespectful to Iceland, who have proved well organised, determined and hard to beat, and not just tonight.

It'll never change till you learn you have to earn it.

How can you say it's not just woy's fault?

He takes one out and out winger to the tournament planning on playing two wide players. His only winger doesn't perform at all so he has no option but to play players out of position or continue with him.

He plays Rooney in a role he basically is incapable of playing.

The style we play which is down to the manager is slow and predictable.

Whenever we are losing he just chucks all his strikers on thinking that will solve the problem, his tactics are based on luck, I said it after the Wales game. Without that creativity behind we may as well not have strikers on the pitch.

Spot on Eire, there's some very good players in the PL but most of them aren't English

Rooney's legs have gone, he dandered about all night looking disinterested. Too old, too fat, should retire.

Looking at their performance tonight, they are either unwilling or unable to play for their country. Must be HARTbreaking for their supporters. Did you see what I did there OLOF
