Go to the game and travel across to Cornwall after, its a no brainer....keeps everyone happy! No chance i'd be missing the game
Im expected to drive half the family down there as my brother is a wet lettuce and can not drive outside a 17 mile perimeter of his front door.
Regardless of whether he is going or not he is an option and what I liked when typing those combinations up was the fact that we have so many options. I think we would have to go back to the O Leary days to find such good cover in defence like that. As I stated I am not saying that all of those combinations would be first choice over a season but as cover goes I think we are very very good at the moment. I prefer to hold onto our youngsters and would love a team built from our academy to do well but if that player decides he wants to leave then bye bye. No time for sentimentality in football these days when it comes to players and contracts.
This is my older brother who has written off 5 cars since he started driving at 17. There is more chance of meeting a civilised Wallie you could have an intelligent conversation with then getting him to drive to Cornwall.
Morning ristac, I'd be surprised if clubs like Southhampton who have a reputation for picking up talent on the cheap weren't interested. A lot of their team came from league 1
Nice try but at least us English speak the English language down south, unlike the northern **** you northern monkies spout!
Not too fussed who gets linked with who yet. Acid test will be the summer. If we fail to go up we need to hold onto the core of this team, not sure how though. If we do go up, well be looking to replace a load of them. Agreed, the defence has been immense especially when you compare it to the last few years
I think you can all safely book your holidays for May i have mine booked dont think we will be in the playoff final either
So you're doing him a big favour. Seeing as he can't handle it, tell him you'd be happy to drive him and his wife and kids all the way to Cornwall.......... the day after the final.
Think there's a resounding message coming from the troops, Hemase. You have to issue an ultimatum, which is simply that if you have to drive, then you are only available the following day. This may be the last time ever that we win promotion at Wembley, so it can't be missed (if we get there). Families are supposed to root for each other, so waiting for a day should be a doddle for them. If they don't like it, they can shell out for a taxi.
If were still in Championship, Wood, Ayling and Viera will be on the radars of the pl clubs, most likely ones promoted this season as theyve seen them in action and will have been impressed
