Just finished watching the recording of the full bill.
Pulev is one hard, hard man, I’ve no idea how we kept getting up from some of those shots. The finish was pure Rocky stuff though, no ****er was taking that and carrying on.
Thought Joshua boxed really well behind the jab and came a whisker from ending it in the 3rd. Then after the 5th he seemed to get drawn into the kind of fight Pulev wanted for about 3 rounds, he allowed him to close the distance, stopped just boxing his head off, and got dragged into a toe to toe, lost his discipline a bit there, as he wanted Pulev on his arse.
The end was brutal, those 3 uppercuts would have flawed virtually anyone imo, but the barmy bastard got back up. Not hard to see how he’s only been between once before tonight, fair play to him, he gave it all he had,
So we’ll see if the fight everyone wants now gets made. Hopefully the WBO don’t **** it up as an undisputed unification fight by attempting to shoe horn in Usyk, and possibly stripping Joshua of the belt if he takes Fury.
