Wasn't suggesting you were an advocate of domestic abuse ... but you did say that you had empathy for a guy that thought beating up a woman might be funny / could be trivialized...
My empathy would go to the thousands of women reading about his 'little joke' whilst living in fear of another hiding from a violent husband or partner ... I suspect they weren't exactly clutching their stomachs with laughter ... or had much empathy for him.
