people complain about early stoppages are idiots the commentator ? pure exhaustion? more like 100 unanswered punched to the face
A video of a bloke dying 70 years ago isn’t currently relevant. No one was talking about that subject and no I’m not, man up ffs.
so can you please explain which areas of boxing conversation are excluded. he didn't die in the ring he died a few weeks after. I think it's important fights are stopped early is what im getting at.
None are, that video was hideous though and from a bygone era. My call, get over it. I agree btw, no boxer needs a brave corner man or a referee who puts a crowd pleasing KO before a boxers safety.
Yeah he did a real job on him, he’s desperate to make the leap to the genuine World stage unification fights and it showed, as he had to impress last night. Decent undercard as well tbf, enjoyable nights boxing.
Anybody watch the Usyk fight? Felt like he was trying to get a few rounds under his belt, so dragged it out a bit. If that wasn’t the case then he certainly made hard work of putting a bum away. My gut feeling is his heavyweight career could be over very quickly if he got in the ring with somebody like Dylian Whyte.
That’s the match-up I’d like to see though Whyte is long overdue a title fight assuming he’s not full of roids.
I’ve just watched it. Pretty unimpressive against a guy who’s past it and took the fight at days notice. He got caught on the counter a number of times and whilst his movement at Heavyweight will be a huge advantage it remains to be seen whether he can take the full power of an elite level heavy, or whether he’s got enough power himself at this weight. I remain sceptical.
Yeah he wasn’t comfortable in there, maybe he’d do better against an opponent he’s trained for but either way I don’t see a spot for him at the top of the HW division, he’d maybe do well against the Parkers and Povetkins and maybe that’s all he’s after.
He’s used to blowing guys away with his power at cruiserweight, last night showed that ain’t gonna happen at heavy. I think his ambition is to top the division or at least get a shot at those elite level big payday fights, he’s bound to get at least one shot, and we’ll find out what he’s truly made of.
the French guy had heart but you could see he was way off skill wise …. warrington lost his last fight imo … I hope he fights santa cruz next be a big win that! he;s an exciting fighter to watch is warrington, btut santa cruz might be able to pick him off … be a great fight
Anybody catch the undercard to Warrington? Zelfa Barrett and Shabaz Masoud put on quite the show it seems. Barrett is a class fighter, never seen Masoud before but people raving about his fight on social media.
Yeah I watched all of it. Barrett was class against a decent and tough opponent. Masoud looks like a real prospect, a switch hitting, technically excellent boxer, definitely one to watch.
Yeah looks quite raw, opponent was poor so hard to tell. Silly antics in rd 6 no need for that at his level. Plenty of skill though so defo one to watch.
