He could bang like. I couldn’t believe Warrington just kept walking into that left hook. Agreed 100% with the pundits and Hearn last night, the little Spaniard was robbed and the referee or his corner should have stopped the Warrington fight after the knock down in the 4th or at the start of the 5th when you could see he was clearly concussed. Not a good evening for the sport that & I hope Warrington is OK, as that wasn’t good.
He just looked so much stronger than Warrington. Warrington looked like he had the power of an angry girl in there. I heard him say he'd done something to his shoulder about round 5 to his corner, but I think than Mexican looked very good personally and not just his power I think he mixed it up a bit more than the commentary suggested, but Warrington was just throwing wildly.. He looked very poor imo.. No recognisable combos. These matchroom judges are a joke and hrsrn keeps coming out saying it, but nothings changing.. The Lewis ritson decision was a joke not so long ago..
The judges are British boxing control officials no? Pretty sure last nights were all top level referees. Warrington has never had one punch knockout power, but it was his combos and workrate that set him apart. Last night he just wasn’t right, whether mentally or physically (or both). He took a heavy left in the first and it shook him, as he felt the lads power. Not sure he fancied it from that moment on tbh.
I know but he looked incredibly weak last night to me.. Not the guy that put Frampton on his arse. He looks a bit gaunt but then again he looks like a space raider naturally anyway... Might be his times up at that weight? I don't know but he looked feeble in there
Not sure where he goes from that defeat tbh mate. He was in line for a massive unification fight, then talking about maybe moving up a weight level, all of that and the £M’s that would have come with it, are now in the bin. That kind of a heavy knockout defeat can end boxers, he’ll feel like his world has collapsed today like.
He's miles ahead on the cards, apparently. Juarez putting on lots of pressure, but not landing consistently. Could be some odd scores.
Jordan Gill v Cesar Juarez, at the moment. Josh Kelly v David Avanesyan is the headliner. Still a couple before that, I think. https://boxrec.com/en/event/825658
Can’t believe I’ve missed this quality content to not watch Fulham while scrolling mindlessly on my phone.
