know they are tough games and its a big ask but 2 wins from Southampton and Everton would IMO see us safe. Its 2 x cup finals. I think 2 wins is highly unlikely, I just keep holding on to the fact we performed a miracle last season.
I seem to recall Everton being in and around the relegation spots pretty perpetually at times in the 90's and early 2000's but they never went down and gradually drifted back up the table. There's always hope.
Anyone can adjust it, feel free I'd already adjusted it on the table. Newcastle 34 -21 35 14 Newcastle 34 -21 35 Hull 34 -13 34 Aston Villa 34 -22 32 Leicester 34 -18 31 Sunderland 33 -23 30 QPR 34 -21 27 Burnley 34 -26 26

What the **** is that team? Tim Krul is shook to bits, he's looking worse than that 11yr old girl they had in nets over Christmas. Newcastle, making sure your coupon never gets busted since the dawn of time.
Well this confirms it. Enjoy the PL lads, don't forget us as we tumble down the leagues. On the plus side, you staying up saves me the hassle of looking for you in the Championship section on this site. Every cloud I guess haha

Sky are saying we have a horrendous run of fixtures and look doomed ...... fckoff. We play Everton next who conceded 3 and lost to Villa, they're nowt special. Then we play Leicester and we'll win ......... plus a point at either Arsenal or Chelsea. Newcastle will be pooing their pants, they've lost 2 of their remaining defenders & the supporters are revolting ......... some believe Hull are safe but not if they lose to Arsenal and fail to beat Burnley. It's Burnley's last chance to save themselves and they'll throw everything at that game. Newcastle are at home to West Brom next, currently drawing at Man Utd, and the atmosphere will be poison. They've somehow managed to have the 2nd worse goal difference in the league .... which could be crucial. Newcastle - 35 POINTS West Brom (Home) - May 9 QPR (Away) - May 16 West Ham (Home) - May 24 HULL - 34 POINTS Arsenal (Home) - May 2 Burnley (Home) - May 9 Tottenham (Away) - May 16 Man United (Home) - May 24 LEICESTER - 34 POINTS Southampton (Home) - May 9 Sunderland (Away) - May 16 QPR (Home) - May 24 SUNDERLAND - 33 POINTS Everton (Away) - May 9 Leicester (Home) - May 16 Arsenal (Away) - May 20 Chelsea (Away) - May 24 QPR - 27 POINTS Man City (Away) - May 9 Newcastle (Home) - May 16 Leicester (Away) - May 24 BURNLEY - 26 POINTS Hull (Away) - May 9 Stoke (Home) - May 16 Aston Villa (Away) - May 24 Newcastle 35 -24 35 Hull 34 -13 34 Leicester 35 -15 34 Sunderland 34 -22 33 QPR 35 -22 27 Burnley 35 -27 26
Its going to be between us and Newcastle, although its possible us, Newcastle, Hull and Leicester all finish on 37 points so it could go down to goal difference. Playing Chelsea and Arsenal away at the end of the season may do us no favors. We need a draw against Everton and a win against Leicester. Its going to be really tough but a win would really put the pressure on Newcastle and they are in worse form with bigger problems than us. We need to get a win quickly to really put the pressure on them.
Couldn't bring myself to post yesterday (due to our match). I hope you guys stay up I really do, you seem to be trying and there are signs you could be able to continue and pull it off. As for Newcastle who knows. Ashley has managed to create such an apathy amongst some of the most passionate fans it's no wonder the players are sleepwalking too. Of the teams down there we deserve to go down with QPR. Burnley I feel sorry for as I like them but they're just not good enough. I think we'll get a point or two from our final games but that may not be enough and we (as a club) very much deserve what is coming. The fans don't but no fans do, except Millwall and possibly Villa but lets not dwell on them.
with any luck, the daft gets will have men sent off frustrated by the gooners counter attacking verve
