Labour unfortunately shot themselves in the foot going back on their promise to respect the referendum result and it turned out to be fatal. I've said a few times to friends this will be the "storm before the calm" and possibly the best thing that could have happened to Labour to be honest, get rid of Corbyn, Abbott and all the old deadwood in the party, get some new blood with more centralized policies in place for the next general election manifesto which can't be proven to be complete fantasy (as was the tories and liberal-with-their-democracy-democrats). Watch Boris massacre his manifesto over the next five years, Labour will have a big surge at the next election and depending on how Brexit is going could win a huge majority next time around.

Unfortunately this was inevitable but I honestly would have voted Conservative this time around if I had voted.
This will depend greatly upon whether Labour learn from this defeat and in which direction they take. If they don’t learn and they don’t move back to the centre then they could be on the way to temporary oblivion.

Don't get why people were so good Labour anyway if you voted to remain.

JC is more leave then BJ

The beauty of Johnson is that he seems to have no convictions or policies at all other than for himself to become world king. Teflon man with a three word doctrine. If Cameron had stood on a leave agenda, Gropey Boris would have stood for remain. Corbyn is a rabidly anti E.U marxist in a party whose MPs and electorate are largely metro left or centre left and largely pro-E.U. Naturally he now seeks to blame the remainers in his party rather than his dogmatic leadership.

Corbyn is like a piss soaked tramp hanging onto his bottle of whiskey on a park bench.

he’s ****ed up the party so should go immediately yet he wants to cling on during the period of reflection....

hopefully the party will force him out.

he’s lost any remaining credibility for me by not walking already.

imagine if a person who causes a car crash wanted to hang around to help investigate it after it happened....

Next we have the ****ing Scots bleating on about being like Norway.

A country like Scotland that robs the English into paying for their prescriptions and health service want to be like Norway.

For everyone unaware, Norwegian pay for doctor visits, prescriptions, have some of the most expensive dental care in Europe, pay huge taxes. SNP lying to their dumb jock faces.

I so so hope they vote to leave, England and Wales will be so better off when the Government doesn't have to worry about offending Scots when spending money in Northern England.
