The Treasury's economic analysis last year suggested the UK economy would be 4.9% smaller after 15 years if the UK leaves the EU with a free-trade deal, compared to staying in the EU. The economy of the North East would be more than 6% smaller.

I'm not counting this as a post :)

And you do

Would you care to elucidate?
Happy to.

In no particular or exhaustive order

1. To regain control over EU immigration.
2. So that all laws would be made by the UK Parliament.
3. So that all laws would be determined upon by UK Courts.
4. So that the U.K. could recover it’s sovereignty.

You’re welcome.

Not saying all are relevant or will be achieved by Boris’ deal but then again no-one will get everything they originally wanted.

Thank you, I'm off to the pub and will respond in the morning.

I've decided that nothing I say will not appear condescending. The drive for Brexit has always been about money. The border and sovereignty bollocks is just how the wealthy have persuaded the not, to support it.
Look forward to paying for your health care, state pension at 75, England becoming the new Singapore, the end of minimum wage, and for you Vikings, say goodbye to foreign car companies. Oh and the USA telling UK exactly what to do.

I'm fortunate enough to be little effected by any of that.
Just one little snippet of the many I had intended to post. Happy Brexit.

IMO, we need to at least off parts of the NHS to be paid for, the wealthy should be given the option of private-styled healthcare but via NHS.

The wealthy aren't benefiting from, nor losing out by, leaving the EU or not. The wealthy will remain the wealthy.

We're in a fascist world hiding behind make-believe democracy. The real problem with leaving the EU is the invention of career politicians - individuals who saw politics as a way to achieve low-level fame and wealth, not to serve the will of the people. By having vast swathes of inept idiots as our politicians - and a completely broken, antiquated political system stuck in the Victorian era - nobody had the faintest idea how to "do" a Brexit. I'd imagine 60%+ of politicians still have no idea as to what it really means, or how to do it.

The current crop of Labour Politicians are absolutely abysmal, i know that much.

I hate sanctimonious worms who pretend they have some genuine struggles and "working class roots." And the reappearance of the word "comrades" actually makes me want to puke.

Too many people in the North watching Peaky Blinders and thinking they're gonna start a revolution i think.

Imma gonna start a revolution from my bed cos you said the brains I had went to my head.

Be honest Chippy no-one has ever accused you of having any brains.

TBH it doesn’t sound condescending it just sounds uninformed and completely out of touch. Don’t know your age but if you can speak to working class people of my father’s age, in his 80’s, who were talking about being anti EU and wanting independence from the EU, the Federal Europe, before Brexit was a word then you probably wouldn’t retain your view.

Can someone explain why we are now arguing about the election date. Cant we just comprise and hold it on 10 or 11th December.

That bellend Corbyn had no choice. He was completely cornered by Boris.

Today his decision was a simple one... proceed to be the only party to obstruct delivering an election to he people to have their say... (Fib Dems and sweaties having already caved) or fall in line and accept the challenge of making up 20 points in the polls.

This election will be know as the tramp's last stand.

I like it comparing Johnson to a tramp because that is the appearance he portrays. In comparison, Corbyn is "stylish."
