Playing away, Stoke gave us a real hard time last Saturday. They really looked like they wanted to win, although there didn't seem to be much other than pride riding on it for them. They were very hard to break down and were time wasting from the early stages.

My point is: if they can do that against us, surely they're going to give it a go in front of their own fans for their last match of the season?

That worries you? We came out with the same old bollocks for all our away matches for weeks and guess what? We lost them all.

Hope the players aren't travelling down on the same train as some of our more opinionated fans if we don't survive

The last thing we need is another stand-off at Euston lol

Fair enough this is the type of game that you would expect Bolton to do well in, but this is not the same Bolton side that Big Sam got firing so well etc. They really dont appear to have enough quality in the side to snatch a win for me. But as Eamon pointed out - anything can happen.

Looking at Stoke's home record from December, they have a decent set of results and that definately gives me some confidence...

    Everton 1-1 D
    Arsenal 1-1 D
    Wolves 2-1 W
    Man City 1-1 D
    Norwich 1-0 W
    Swansea 2-0 W
    Valencia 0-1 L
    Sunderland 0-1 L
    West Brom 1-2 L
    Wigan 2-2 D
    A Villa 0-0 D
    Spurs 2-1 W
    Dynamo Kiev 1-1 D

Not many goals scored, but not many conceded either...looks promising (on paper anyway!)

reasons why bolton will mess up, cant keep clean sheets, weak midfield and no out and out goal scorer, stoke will want to win to keep there fans happy, pullis needs to win, and his chairman will be telling him there is 2-3m on higher table finish, they nearly got a draw against rangers, and has for nothing to play for ffc beat norwich 6-0 when a win would of kept norwich up

What exactly is 'the Bolton spirit'? Some kind of moonshine made of tripe and onions or whatever it is they eat up there?

Couldn't agree more but if Bolton win they will have deserved to stay up.

Stoke have lost all 3 of their last fixtures of the season so Pulis will want to stop the rot. Wheater is out also and he'll be a huge loss.

I think It's got 2-1 Stoke written all over it. I expect Bolton to score ]

"Bolton Spirit"? Some spirit, being pegged back 2-2 in a must win at home to W Brom. They're sh*t and Stoke will have to be dreadful to lose.

true, QPR are at a record high 21 to win and 9 to draw.
Bolton are only 2.88 to win.

And yet the most likely outcome for you both is Lose/Lose. And thats safety for you guys!

Bollocks to that. I'll spend the summer complaining about Hill's not given goal and Briatore not giving Warnock any money meaning we had Kieron Dyer, Bothroyd and DJ Campbell in the team for Bolton at home.

Bolton are 3/1 on to go down according to the bookies.

If we go down, Ill be complaining about Hills goal and not sacking Warnock sooner. Warnock wasted £1.5m on DJC, its no surprise he wasnt given more money.

Don't worry Watford they won't win. There's more chance of Spurs winning a trophy soon IMO <ok>

Given he virtually had to beg even for that, and sell out best centre-half to cover the majority of it, and he had to see his main targets, Morison and Graham, get snapped up, I don't think he deserves any blame at all.
