    Trying to get away from similar scorelines to others but can't get away from a narrow city win and Mason netting so I'll either be joint top or joint bottom.

    I did remote - exactly that mate. <ok>

    Stuck a fiver on the draw at 2/1 this morning. Got home and the 15 quid return was already in my account. Not a huge compensation for the dropped points though.

    That's what I like, a man wit the courage of his convictions.

    Listened to the game on the radio. Sounded a typical early season game but also that the shoots of recovery were there with some decent passing football. Was that actually the case?

    Haven't posted on the game in fear of being accused of being negative again but I didn't see a huge difference from the game against them last season.

    We were better than them in both games but nowhere near the finished thing, and we'll face a lot better sides than them this season and that worries me.

    I must say that apart from Moore's fumble, the back 5 looked pretty good - the problem still to be solved is just in front of them. Whitts was as poor as I've seen him this past couple of years and if he holds the key to our midfield, then he's got to come good pretty quick or we'll get nowhere.

    To me there were more goals in the game than actually went in the net and a 1-1 draw was a worse reflection on us than on Fulham.
