The result from this afternoons scrappy late win for QPR - Ninian Opinion 1 - 1 Sayer77 Neither of our finalists are able to get the better of each other as they both correctly predict a 2-1 win for QPR but are wide on the yellow card count and their goalscorers (or lack of in Ninian's case ) This means that for the first time in history the Playoff Final will go into Overtime and the contestants will now need to predict League 1's Playoff Final by 3:00 pm tomorrow. (Brentford vs Leyton Orient) Hope you guys see this by then!

Ninian Opinion 1 - 2 Sayer77 In strange circumstances following a strange set of fixtures Sayer manages to secure his place in the First Division. This is despite his prediction of the the L1 Playoff final been quite wide but he handed the tie by Ninian missing his extra prediction. So a single point from the card count is enough to squeeze Sayer through in a result which makes him the first player to ever return to the top tier after his relegation 2 years ago. Commiserations to Ninian who has had a cracking full season! Cheers guys!

Yes Ninian is welcome to appeal but we may have to wait for another game to decide considering everything is finished. Perhaps the Community Shield?
Yes I haven't been on line until this morning so I didn't realise there was overplay so I'd be happy to take on Sayer in a play off. England's opening WC match perhaps?
Super a replay playoff it will be The fixture will be - England vs Italy (14th June 2014) Same scoring system as before but I'll try and think of some form of tiebreaker before then. I'm also away around that period so it may take a while for to post a result

Sorry it's taken a while to post but we have our final result! Ninian Opinion 0 - 1 Sayer77 In a similar fashion to the previous matches both competitors go for a the same result (are you guys collaborating? ) both picking a 1-1 draw between England and Italy. This unbelievably tight tie is settled by Sayer choosing Super Mario as his scorer instead of Ninian's pick of Pirlo, which is the only difference in the two predictions! Unfortunately for Nin the result stands and Sayer is promoted to the First Division but only by the narrowest of margins. Commiserations Ninian! Sayer77 is the 2013/14 Playoff Champion!!!
