Sheep sir, Do you mind if I give my prediction for Saturday, off to sunnier climes for a couple of days . CCFC 2 - 0 CAFC Gunnar to score My apologies for starting a new thread, but if I posted on the Rotherham thread you might have overlooked it. Thanks
Last time City faced Charlton, a poor team failed to hold on to an early goal despite having a one man advantage after being outplayed in the 2nd half at the Valley. Slade looked clueless that afternoon and looked even more clueless before kick off at the New York Stadium on Tuesday after making 4 changes. However, he well and truly pulled the rabbit out of the hat as City crushed Rotherham 3-1. Will this good run continue? It has been a long time since City played well at home. Bigger tests of City's strength lie after this match in away and home fixtures to Brentford and Bournemouth, who have both already torn City apart this season. The real winner last night was Blueturk who took a maximum of 4 points for predicting the score and foreseeing Macheda's goal One must wander what he was drinking before posting that... A point for ccfcremotesupport mean that it's time for Steveoldinho to take a dip in the red danger zone. Also this weekend sees the start of new knockout competition for those who finished in the Top 8 last season. They shall be predicting the latter stages of the FA Cup. The fixtures are shown below - ccfcremotesupport vs GLAMorgan (Bradford vs Reading) on Sat 7th March Blue Sheep vs Irishbluebird (Liverpool vs Blackburn) on Sun 8th March Masky vs Swamp (Aston Villa vs West Brom) on Sat 7th March BluefromBridgend vs Jonah Bluebird (Liverpool vs Arsenal) on Mon 9th March. Cheers
I didn't even know you were engaged - were you on the rebound from Stephen Fry?............. That Macheda goal must prove why we've done so badly without him Stevo - I hope you'll be very happy together.
He's quality. He's not perfect by anyone's standards but like I mentioned on the match thread I'd love to see the stats for the season for when he's started against when he hasn't.
Cardiff 2-0 Charlton please Sheep. McAleny. And it's you versus me in the F A Cup so can I predict a 3-1 to Liverpool. Coutinho to score first with Sterling and Sturridge. Rudy to reply. 1 yellow for Liverpool and 3 for Rovers. Attendance 55,555. Have I got that right?!!
Charlton have done okay recently, 2 - 2 draw please Sheepy. Doyle to come on and score. He simply has to notch soon.
Us 3 them 1 with Mr jones on the sheet. I'm actually going tomorrow with my daughter, after not managing a game since 1991, I reckon!!!! Bugger me! it's over 20 years!!!!! where's the best place to park the car?
FFB - you clearly haven't seen us play this season. Lol!!! But welcome back anyway. If before 1.30 then plenty of on road spaces on Hadfield and Bessemer Road or in Grangetown around the Cornwall pub. There is a paying car park in Bessemer Road market between £3 and £5 depending on anticipated attendance. Or there is paying parking at the athletics arena. You used to be able to pay to park there and get a free pint in the onsite club (Gol Centre?). Don't know if that still applies
