The Blatter has spoken again.........He says that Frank Lampards ghost goal at the 2010 World Cup convinced him for the need for goal-line technology.

Hello Mr Blatter.......World Cup 2010 .....this is 2012........isn't that a two years gap........so maybe another twenty years to wait then.

Report on BBC SPORT FOOTBALL.......and I quote......

Blatter was aware senior officials were paid millions of pounds, according to a court investigation into bribery claims.

Former President Joao Havelange and executive committee member Ricardo Teixeira were named on Wednesday as having received huge sums by FIFA's former marketing partner ISL neither disciplined by FIFA instead, FIFA paid £1.64 million (2.5 million Swiss Francs) to a Swiss Court on condition criminal proceedings were dropped, end of quote.

You can't let football get in the way of earning an odd crust or two can you ?

And Teixeira was the one with the temerity to threaten to "make England's" life hell" when the British press make the accusations public.

It says a lot about Blatter that he allowed Teixeira to continue in post when he was aware the man was grossly corrupt. Whether it was an offence under Swiss law at the time is neither here nor there: most people know corruption when they see it.

When you have your nose in the same trough as the rest then it's hard to see past anything as you gobble up as much as you can.
