Yesterdays result for the Posh earned them promotion via the play offs. It also gave DF another chance to manage in the Championship just months after his departure from PNE.
Now I know that his hands were tied in the transfer market and it wasn't the easiest of situations for a manager to in, and with that I can sympathise with him a little, BUT, the players he had at his disposal were more than capable of at least mid table IMO.
He may well have learned from his mistakes at PNE, but looking at Posh scorelines of 3-2, 4-4, 5-3 and numerous 2-2 draws, then I think his defensive management still leaves a lot to be desired. Yes, his side can score goals, but it'll be a lot tighter in the Championship and if his team can't stop leaking goals in L1 then they are going to really struggle.
I rarely wish ill luck on people and I've certainly nothing against Peterborough but I do hope they struggle. It's an ironic twist of fate that sees DF swapping places with us in the divisions and it is indeed a very bitter pill for me this morning
