Torres for me, he was idolised and we learnt a harsh lesson also all the arm band thing. I wish he had never signed.

    .......................

why? he scored a load of goals for us and we made 25 million profit once he had past his peak, thats not taking into account the commercial gains we got from him.

i would say we made 35-40 million from him and had him playing for his during his peak. right now suarez is a better player and younger

Torres also would never have left if Rafa Areloa and Alonso hadn't left, he was with a few compatriots and it all changed for good when Rafa went, only I thought Pepe would go too. I was gutted tbh but feel no bitterness about it all, if he went to United though, I would have been bitter as ****

Ashely drove carroll to anfield and pushed him out of the chopper without landing, thats how much they wanted the 35m

    Afternoon BBF,

In one post you are saying it's balls because foreign players can't be expected to show loyality ( re Heinze ).

then a few posts later you say how bitter you would be if a foreign Liverpool player left for United. ?

Being bitter about a player joining a rival is not calling him a judas.<doh> And I said in a short time at a club too, ye always leave the context out to suit those numpty arguments, maybe you should read what you are replying to maybe

Loyalty is one thing, feeling the derby passion is quite another.

Some, a lot of footballers treat it as their career, Henize obviously didn't share the rivalry between united and Liverpool as he wanted to go to Liverpool, which proves my point really, if he doesn't feel the same way, he can't be a judas then can he as a Judas turns!! neville going to Liverpool would e classed as a Judas, Carra to United or Gerrard, not Torres and co

I'd like to see Owen raped by a silverback...but away from my weekends...I'd like to see Owen ripped apart by a silverback.

Don't think there was any literal meaning, he just struggles with the right words so rape and rip are the choice:)

If the silverback doesn't know the diff, I'm fine with that. Either/or/both.
