Yes it is quite the conversation piece. A newly formed club playing in the bottom tier whose CEO tries to get the rub off the best club in the land. A CEO who is managing your expectations to pretend that liquidation never happened.
It happened exactly as predicted.
I used to enjoy derby games. I expect I will enjoy the new derby too. I am just not going to pretend things are the same just to fit some nonsensical narrative.
Liquidation happened alright, I remember it well.
You'll never change your views on this, that's your choice. You're taking the very literal view, Rangers got liquidated so no longer exist in any form. To me Rangers are Rangers, whats happened has happened, it can't be helped. As long as this team plays under the name of Rangers then they'll have my support.
Come on Rebel, let's no go down that road. There's about 50 threads, some 30,40,50 pages long on the Celtic board about this "successor club". Quite the conversation piece for a wee 3rd division team, wouldn't you say? The team playing in the 3rd division, you know who they are, every Celtic fan knows who they are, some choose to recognise this, and others don't. But don't try to feed me the factually correct stuff, that's just pish.
Rangers are deid Mick, get wae the programme.
Ye canny put a team into the SPL that don't exist, doofus.
All he has to say is "Never express your opinion on a football team as you might upset a few yahoos"
"I'm only here to talk about Celtic/Scotland"
Bog standard reply to any future mischief making by Sevcomedia

The SPL is gash with only one competitive team in it - one of the best SPLs was back in 2005 when Hearts were competitive for quite a while. As much as I'll look forward to it getting more competitive when/if Rangers make their way up I just don't believe it would be right to speed the process up - if we push Rangers up the league system into the SPL we are basically conceding that Rangers (and Celtic by extension) are immune from any possible future relegations and/or the same sporting rules that apply to every other club that have earned their place in the league system.
The majority in the FTTT was logical. Just not a logic I agree with.
Or
Like everyone else
everyone??
fair enough. The majority in the FTTT was logical. Just not a logic I agree with.
Nor it seems do Barclays Bank who have advised clients who used the EBT in the same way as rfc to settle with the tax man. They anticipate the UTT to go against rfc and if not, once the decision is out of Scotland in the hand of the Supreme Court.
The payments as LNS said on page 42 of his report are then no longer legal but illegal and UEFA would surely have to look at sporting fair play, although the football authorities in Scotland won't.
Everyone who has had media training.
CELTIC captain Scott Brown admits he would miss Old Firm games if a newco Rangers was not admitted to the SPL
Everyone who has had media training.
Yip.. training on how not to speak about Rangers in case it upsets some yahoos.. money well spent!
Training in how to present neutral, mundane answers like every other **** on every other topic in football.
I don't see anyone getting worked up about this apart from you and Albie. Most other folk are concerned about Mulgews inability to play the media game.

Yip that the concern ....
He should be allowed to voice his opinion on a football matters... no matter if it different from others. That's my point.
