First off is that it is not a contract but more like contract foreplay. When D&P were talkin 'bout the owners of the bigot dome and the Ironside conveyor belt they said the owner was not in administration and then quickly glossed over it..... So when John Brown aaked the infamous question....he may have been right. What Charles Green may have got is a lease. That CQN thing was from October but a redacted copy of the document is now 'out there' it looks ****tily drafted but I don't think that necessarily means it is bogus. Basically. If true, season ticket holders are paying rent at quite a whck to the landlord.... It is probably to early to say I told you so.... But......this is all off the back of their nonsensical insistance that they are the same club. Their utter stupidity killed Rangers and it has crippled Sevco. No cutting of cloth, just carry on regardless... WATP.
It's beginning to look as if Green was told that Rangers would be given direct entry to the SPL, but the fan revolt put paid to that and Doncaster and Regan had no other option than to accept they could not help. If Rangers had just accepted their fate and cut their cloth accordingly by reducing player wages to a realistic level they may have got over this speedbump, it may have taken longer than planned but it would have been far easier to set the ship on an even keel. When Green was promised entry into the SPL his eyes must have filled with ££££ signs at the thought of shelling out a paltry £5.5m to gain control of a "Club" he could sell down the line for a lot more. I suspect if the allegations are true and that Whyte and Green were in this together, Green was simply not concerned about this potential scenario as he thought he could simply wring Rangers for a good return then get out of Dodge before he is ridden out of town on a rail. This is what Whyte planned also, and he also gambled that money would pour in covering his arse in the short term, he failed and instead found a character to act as a cat's paw, the conner got conned though and at this moment in time i'm wondering who is the biggest crook of the two of them.
They are both heroes Actually, in truth they are all bastards. I understand the faux deification of Craig Whyte, it is a bit of craic. But truth be told, Murray was a **** and so are this colluding pair. I am struggling to believe how easy it has been for Green and how much easier it would have been if it wasn't for fan pressure. Big thanks to Jabba for exposing Whyte.....
Considering duff and phelps were craig whytes boys, what did anybody expect? Would have to doubt the lease rumours as there is no mention of it on the title deeds.
I feel sad that this new club is in so much bother. It reminds me of a different club just last year when it's death throes were played out in award-winning documentaries, newspapers, radio & TV. And even although many saw that the end was nigh, there were still plenty of gullible people out there that believed that they were too big to fail. Well if that big club went to the wall, then this new wee club is in real trouble. Last year, Craig Whyte was the right man for the job - I'll tell you one thing, I thought he was a poker player staright from the top drawer - but then some really mean journalists set about him when they started reporting things called facts and then it all started to unravel. There was panic amongst the blogoshpere as his ardent lieutenants began to delete anything that they ever praised him for and they totally re-invented history. Which in itself was a bit silly; apparently instead of re-inventing history, you can just buy it. Fast forward a year and Green is in the same boat. These bad journalists need to get a grip. Don't they realise that when they start throwing facts about, all these fair & open-minded bloggers need to review their last years work and start going crazy with the delete button? This poor wee club's dun nuffin tae naeb'dy, so they journos better no start bandying facts about willy-nilly. Facts are pure dead dangerous, so they ur, n'at - know?
silly timmy. chico has said all along that the rangers will never play in the spl while he is in charge.
how come this is only coming out now? When you checked companies house about sevco5088 last year there was no mention of craig whyte. Now he appears listed as a director.
