Hooper was definitely following instructions I expect every team that can get a good delivery Into box use the same tactics. I am glad he didn't hear you Pud. He successfully tied up two Juventus players at every corner. Every time we play an Italian team, we get a Spanish ref. last night the ref was the usual, from a strong Southern European, wanting a strong Southern European Country to succeed. How Celtic did not get two penalties at least Can only be explained by the Spaniard interpreting the rules differently than the rest of Europe. Why have we always to play Italian and Spanish teams with improper refs.

Is it just me, or do I miss something with Ambrose? but everytime Ive seen him play I thought he was capable of turning in a performance just like last night. Hes a bombscare waiting to happen imo. I hope this is not forgotten with this whole late return from africa excuse.

We played well. Just were not clinical enough. We had far more chances but didnt take them. Juve had probably only the 3 and took them. They are a better side with better players. So thats what happens at that level. Every mistake gets punished by the top teams.

Annoying thing is only celtic can play well, win plaudits and get beat 3-0

The thing with Ambrose is I like to see our CBs try to play football, that was no excuse for last night's disaster but if CBs are going to play football then naturally mistakes will be made. I realise that is no compensation but maybe in the long term he will learn when to try and play it out slowly or beat a man, and when to hoof it into the stands. I think he's still fairly young and does not have an awful lot of experience but I like what I see so far.

Maybe dev. I hope he will improve, but his all round defensive play worries me more than him trying to play the ball. I coulf be wrong but I just dont see it with him. Reminds me of gary caldwell.

But while we are in his age. No ****ing way he is 24. Hes 40 at least

Commons missed a decent chance last night. Cutback, 12 yards out, and he put it straight at buffon.

I don't speaka da Latin and i'm not a typist, sometimes I proof read sometimes I don't, I make spelling errors quite often because my eyesight is poor, likewise the odd typo creeps in.

I'm far from perfect but kudos to you for spotting my error, I must be a right muppet.

Yes your forensic eye spotted a missing "E". I'll bet you that's not the first time you've been told that.

Harry I think our Goalie let us down. He was poor, but there was no way Lennon
wasn't going to pick him. I think Ambrose was left too much on his own when
That ball went over his head. The goalie should have been out far faster and
Wilson should have been over beside Ambrose. How often have we lost goals
in Europe in the first or second minute.

I refuse to read posts from people who give out advice as to who or what should have played where, this coming from a man who shouted at Hooper to move away from blocking their goalie and defender. At the time of his shouting it seemed inevitable that Celtic would get a penalty and a man advantage. Obviously if the ref. used a rule book it was more like a Rangers rule book than any official book from north Europe.
