http://sport.stv.tv/football/212725-paddy-mccourt-removed-from-celtics-champions-league-squad/ Makes no sense.
Clearly, he'll be playing games preceding, in between and after the Juventus games and that will be exhausting enough for the lad.
aye, thats all very well but what about the ginger burd pictured on the right hand side of the stories page ?
I was about to counter that until I saw the edit Doesn't matter if you don't think he'll play, if Commons and Forrest get injured and we need a guy to run at a team for the last five minutes, we've just voluntarily narrowed our options. Cannae get my head round it at all.
paddys been acting the **** smoking drinking and pissing his talent up against a wall, lennys telling him he can get tae **** with an attitude like that. just my interpretation.
There is one slight flaw in your interpretation Paddy doesn't smoke. To go back to an earlier point, I don't think the form of Celtic players leading up to the big game is really that important, as I think they will raise their game on the night, I might be more worried if the whole Celtic team were all in top form and winning every game by Five or six goals. In that case they could leave their good form behind, just a bit of nervous tension and strain could get the best out of them on the night.
Ha! Ha ! The wit knows no bounds , We don't need the smart remarks from them when our own does it for them.
Not strictly about the game itself, but, who's all going to the fans party thing at the Barras Art Centre beforehand (or during if you're not going). I've negotiated an early release from work and the Wednesday off Gonnae get MWI. Gettin' mad wi' it in the Champions League Removing myself from my titties in the Champions League Scrambling my braincells in the Champions League <yaldy>
I just read a GB statement that says there'll be a Tifo before the game I'm assuming that means everyone should just be there early (the "take your own flags" idea wasn't a good un). The statement ends Juve, Juve vaffanculo Which I understand translates to Juve, Juve, go take it in the arse

14 ANDREA PIRLO last night admitted Juventus are running SCARED of Celtic. Italian playmaker Pirlo spoke to SunSport after helping Juve to a 2-0 win over Fiorentina. Pirlo, who has shrugged off fitness worries, said: “We know we have got to be afraid of Celtic a little bit. “The group stage win against Barcelona was great for Celtic and they also got a good result against Spartak Moscow. “They have many good players. I like Georgios Samaras, he’s a great striker and also their manager is very good too. “I played against Neil Lennon, he was a good midfielder and was very aggressive. “He had a good career as a player.” Pirlo admits Celts’ stunning group stage win over Barca made the whole of Europe sit up and take notice. Pirlo, 33, has experienced defeat at Celtic Park before when he was part of the AC Milan team that lost 2-1 to a last minute Scott McDonald goal. He added: “Celtic are a great Scottish team, I have played against them before for Milan. I remember it is a great team and the stadium has a great atmosphere. “We won’t feel intimidated by the fans because we are used to these situations. “We are expecting a great game. We hope to get to Glasgow in good shape and recover from this game on Saturday night. “In the Champions League you need the energy to fight. “I don’t know if we are at the top of our form, but we feel very well. “We are hoping to go through to the next round and need a good result in Glasgow on Tuesday.” Juventus were last night tight-lipped about whether they will use Murray Park to train. Gers announced they had agreed to provide a base for them, but Juve have not made a final decision on the offer, Read more: http://www.thesun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/4787688/Pirlo-Were-scared-of-you.html#ixzz2KU7q2HFz
