Whilst he was decent, didn't think Lustig was that great either. Maybe the other RBs all had howlers <laugh>

Always great to see the Nazis charging down the right wing on the eastern front.

Pity about Puyol, I would prefer if they didn't have any excuse when we are playing them.

Good one sh! I'm just sorry that he's out for the politically-charged 'classico' tomorrow - he'll be sorely missed. Wonder how the authorities will take the independance demo of nearly 100,000 home supporters holding aloft cards and turning the traditional mosaic into a huge image of Catalonia's La Senyera flag.

The best news at the weekend is the continuous bad form of the Barcelona defence, yesterday showed gaping holes
and was easily breeched by an average Real Madrid side. Hooper and Samaras must be eagerly awaiting, rubbing their
    hands in glee.

Fair point. That Ronaldo, Ozil, De Maria and Benzema don't hold a light to Sammy and Hooper. Sammy's golden locks of hair are worth more than the £200 million or so Real paid for those guys...

Mickey Lustig scored against der Faderland for the Swedes tonight as Sweden Launched a magnificent comeback to draw 4-4 with Germany.

Not great news for national side of all real Celtic fans, Ireland. But great news that Lustig's stock remains high.

Thomas Rogne also scored last night to put Norway through to the Euro U21 Finals, knocking France out.

    The future is bright.

The only problem, Mick is that Rogne will probably be injured for the next ten days or so.

I watched the Barca Vs Deportivo La Coruna game this morning. Neil Francis Lennon was at the game too. But in case he needed my input.....

I think Jordi Alba can be got at......he scored a lovely goal. Really lovely. His OG was unlucky.

Villa was quiet enough. I don't know if he'll start on tuesday. If he does, then that whole right flank is up for grabs. Defensively Matthews is a lot looser than Matthews but pacey breaks may be our best opportunity to play higher up the field.

Forrest is the key to getting up the field on that side. Do what he does. Run run run run run.

They have identified Sammy as the key. I don't see it as being quite the same on that side of the field but I think the principle is.

Commons has been a fantastic link man but unless we have enough bodies going the other way we could be overrun.

Barca looked very vulnerable to set pieces. Mulgrew is handy on either end of a free kick or corner but perhaps lacks the pace to play at left back against a team with such good movement. Playing him Centre mid means Kayal has to miss out and he is very effective at filling space and winning ball. Playing him at Centre half means we lose the pace of Wilson.

Wilson as a left sided centre half looks like he occasionally loses himself positionally (see Moscow) but he does have pace and is on form.

    Joe Ledley plays.

I don't know if the pressure game of the captain will be effective against players with the best technique of any on the planet. Maybe sticking him in Messi's socks is the way to go?

    I have a plan though.

    ==----------Forster------------------------

    Lustig----- Ambrose-------Wilson--------Mulgrew---- Izzy

    ----------------Wanyama------------Kayal---------Ledley

    ------------------------------------Brown-----------------------------

    Forrest---------------------------Commons------------------------Samaras

    ---------------Commandant Lassad----------------------Watt

    ---------------------------------------Hooper--------------------------------

Just submit that team and call it an administration error.

    That whole post condensed?

Pack in front of the defence. Don't let them round the back.

Break at pace to draw the foul or attack the goals.

    Make set pieces count.

Hope they have an off day

Doubt they'll let us get the ball, tbh.

We are a better side than Deportivo. They scored 4.....

    They were lucky though.
