I use it because I live in the Netherlands and the BBC blocks a lot of content for overseas users (likewise channel 4 & ITV). Just download it and install it. The next time you log into your computer, you should see a red shield in your icon tray as shown below. please log in to view this image This means you're not yet connected, so click the red shield then 'connect/on' in the menu. After about 10 seconds, the shield changes colour to green and this means you're using a UK IP address and you're good to go. You'll stay on a UK IP address until you manually disconnect it via the menu, or log your computer out.
