This Thursday sees Leeds United u18s face Millwall in the FA youth Cup semi final. We have some real potential in that squad including players alot younger than 18. As for players breaking through next season at Championship level. We have Cresswell who is capable. We have Klaesson who let nobody down in the first team earlier this season. We have Joseph who looks more settled every time we see him. Then some outside chances. Lewis Bate has excelled at MK Dons but is out of contract this summer. Rumours are that he might be offered something. The two Charlie's. Allen and Crew look decent too. Let's not forget the likes of Greenwood who has done OK at Boro.
As has been pointed out in many places if creswell couldn’t get in team Friday ahead of cooper he has no future with us
Seems Farke doesn't rate him but he had a superb 2nd half of the season at Millwall. He can play at this level. With no Rodon and Cooper next year then Cresswell might just naturally force Farkes hand. Suppose it depends on FFP and player recruitment. You're prolly right though. Cresswell might be sold this summer.
If Farke doesn’t rate him then that’s all that matters. Previous ones didn’t either and Friday was an ideal time to get game time. He didn’t unfortunately. Like Joffy I think their futures will be mid championship level
It's funny Rangers had two bids for Creswell knocked backed last summer since then he's fallen back in the pecking order behind Rodon, Strujk, Cooper and Ampedeu. I think if we go up and we sign Rodon (IF!!!) and Cooper goes Amps will move in to the back 4. It still leaves him behind Strujk Creswell must looking at his options going forward
Farke has already addressed the creswell think with reference to his attitude and how he’d have to improve areas.
