<laugh> I thought the same myself. He's always been one of those trainers that lets his horses race against each other rather than keep them apart and doesn't do much at home with them.
Had a tenner yesterday on mixed acca at 12/1

I loved O'Brien's typically disingenuous explanation of the result - that the two horses work together every day and are friends, and Winter decided to let his mate win this time.

Laughable & annoying.

Arc is famous for a big charge at first then a pedestrian middle with a fast finish...... Enable will be in first three after 2F then go to the front and take the legs out of the rest of the field... only question will be can any of the older horses stay with her?..... I doubt it.

Agreed, looking through the field, what can beat her with that turn of foot - IF she is in position. Ulysses looks the main danger, but already been beaten out of sight by the filly before. The rest are plodders - maybe O'Brien's 10 runners in the race will lead to some argy bargy <whistle>

P.S: If you get a low draw in the Arc it is essential you break quickly, else you are basically f•cked behind a wall of horses. Dettori won't fall for that, will he <doh>
 
18 runners declared. Think the filly will win but not worth taking 8/11. Plenty of top class horses taking her on, we all know these big tactical races can spring shocks!

A month ago I had a bit on Satono Diamond before he then flopped on trials day and now drifted big in price. Was hoping the race would cut up a bit but hasn't happened.
