You'd get poor odds for Bayern.
I just think Pep has/will take the best aspects out of their game I.e Solid shape off the ball,4-2-3-1, direct and incisive play. I just feel if they come up against a side like Dortmund/Real or even City under Pellegrini they could get beat, something I'd never have said last year.
Not sure Chelsea have the players to win the PL. Just think with the final being in Lisbon, so many top European clubs going through managerial change and Mourinho's desire to prove a point that Chelsea may just do it.
I've got a feeling the league is going to get stronger this year so it'll be interesting for betting
I think Pep's smart enough to know that he doesn't need to tweak much of what is technically the best team in Europe right now. If he tries drastically changing what has proven to be a winning formula both domestically and in Europe then you'd have to question why Pep would do such a thing. He'll no doubt add a little tiki-taka flair but I can't see him completely trying to make Bayern into his Barca version 2.
In regards to you guys, I really don't see a better team in our league at the moment. Utd have lost Fergie and while Moyes is a great manager, he just won't be a Fergie 2.0 simple as that, Fergie got the best out of every single player, there are players in the Utd team that ability wise aren't better than a lot of players in the other top 4/5 sides yet Fergie somehow got them to perform out of their skin, he installed a winning mentality, Moyes doesn't have that and personally I think it'll show at times. I don't expect Utd to suddenly become a mid-table side or anything but Fergie was an extraordinary manager and quite frankly there isn't anyone on the planet that could do what he done.
City, looked poor at times last season and while they've spent big (surprise, surprise) I just don't see them winning the league.
Arsenal so far haven't improved, Higuain joined Napoli and rumours say Bernard is Porto-bound leaving Arsenal so far with one sole target (that we know of) - Suarez. While he'd be a great addition to them, they won't be title challengers with just his addition, they're not strong enough in other areas of the pitch.
Us, while we've added two great players and could be finally signing a striker worthy replacing Berbatov, I still think we're a season away from properly challenging for the league, though I do expect us to cement a top 4 finish and give any team a run for their money this year, providing Bale stays of course.
Then there's you guys, you've re-signed one of the best managers in the game and someone that brought you great success, immediately spirits will be high among players to work under the self proclaimed "Special One", you've added two very good players in Schurrle and van Ginkel and you have Lukaku and De Bruyne returining to what was already a good squad. Mata improves with each season, Hazard and Oscar will no doubt build on impressive debut seasons and with that said, it just gives all the signals to me that Chelsea are the team to beat this year. Being a Spurs fan I'm sure you can appreciate that I hope I'm completely wrong but I genuinely believe you lot have all the ingredients to have a successful season.
