Good race that. Surprised by Silviniaco <applause> backers. RUBY is the difference again

Rubbish. Wrong tactics by the Long Run team - best stayer in the race and they let Ruby dictate <doh>

I agree, they should let Long Run bowl along, let him see his fences and use his stamina. Ruby looked delighted with that.

Kauto looked fantastic, I'm sure he was disappointed not to be running!

Race fitness and pro jockey was just enough to tip the balance in the favour of two very closely matched horses.

I am never sure if Long Run is not the most natural of jumpers or whether a pro would indeed make a difference and help him jump better. SWC is a good amateur but that is still a huge way behind a jockey such as Ruby, Daryl Jacob or AP.

Long Run total dog I won't back him again he looks like a cart horse and he needs 6 miles. He is ****ing huge, I think if W-C was on SC and Ruby was on LR the result still would have been the same. Best horse won, but I don't think SC is now proven top table because Long Run is proving to be a dog. King George looks WIDE open.
