Still riles me that Rooney's goal won best goal of the Premier League. A very good goal, even if he shinned it, there is no denying that, but for it to be even considered as one of the best goals in the Premier League or in the history of football is ridiculous to me. Saintrichie summed it up perfectly, if a league two player pulled that off (which they could, coincidentally) there would be a few highlights on Sky Sports News, a couple of youtube videos with a few thousands views and then it would be forgotten about in a week. As for Ibrahimovic's goal, ridiculous effort and incredible goal, but not anywhere near the best goal ever in my opinion.
I assume no one has mentioned Demba Cisse v Chelsea because it's so obviously the correct answer that there's no need to. Zlatan's goal, meh. He should have celebrated by hugging Joe Hart because it was a gift. PS Did you know Delap's overhead kick was set up by Claus Lundekvam.
The Rooney overhead is very overrated because it's Rooney who score it. It doens't compare to Sinclair's overhead from outside the area. My favourite goal of recent times is Peter Crouch's goal of the season from last year. If it wasn't goal of the season it really should have been.
