    Glenn Whelan.

Corner comes in, Walters runs across the face of the goal and hits in into the corner.

Sounds like a decent goal! (Not sure as i'm following the game on the BBC live text)

Oh well, clean sheet for stoke is all I am after assist would be a bonus, <cough> I mean, what a shock goal from a corner how typical!

PS wish we could bloody score from corners.

Won't happen now coz Gerrard used up his quota of one decent corner a season for England last week <laugh>

    1 - 1 now. Joey O'Brien with an assist from Gary O'Neil.

That goal will shake the fantasy football league up.

Fair play it was...unfortunately Wooneys blundered header (shoulder) a couple of months ago was from a Gerrard corner <ok> So my point still stands <laugh>

I cant really think of a truly ideal corner taker in our regular first 11. Gerrard probably is the best option.

I wouldn't mind if he didn't hit the first man every time...surely we either get someone else taking them or just put 6 men on the front post <laugh> Its been pissing me off for years mate.

He's ****ing terrible at it. Why does he bother when anyone could just hit the first man EVERY time? Plus as he's one of the best volleyers of the ball in recent times why isn't he sitting on the edge of the box? Wingers and full backs should take corners. They are supposed to be Prem standard so why can't they whip the ball in? If they can't they shouldn't be playing out wide in the first place <ok>

  12. Suso and Sahin seem to be our best options!

Come on mate he's taken 4 or 5 corners a game (at least) for ten years. You can't just pull out the odd one and say that proves your point. Have you never noticed how bad his corners are? I'm his biggest fan but his corners are ****ing bollox.

  15. His dead balls are and always have been poor. He pulls out a bit of quality every now and again which is unrivalled but his success ratio is terrible!

His crossing from open play, especially from a deeper position and first time hits, are phenominal <ok>

Despite no clean sheet for stoke I am happy as it is a team above us dropping points. Now I know we will get whining bastards (you know who you are) going on about we are liverpool, we dont worry about the opposition, its only west ham blah blah blah Well **** em! anything that helps LFC in anyway whatsoever is good in my eyes.

  19. If you look up you will find I said we will finish above West Ham no matter what they did tonight <ok>

I agree but this can only help and the sooner we move up the table the better, momentum and confidence are a huge factor.
