i like their newer stuff...the old stuff was good in it's day i'm sure, but sounds a bit like pap now. Can't say that Lennon/McCartney weren't hugely talented songwriters though...amazing stuff
**** the beatles..hornette got the right idea.. brill!
The thing is i have all the Beatles albums but rarely listen to them, i have all the Beasty boyz albums and keep going back to them.......... Music is a personal choice and shoving your views down others throats is pointless.
So true. Everyone likes different things and I love discussing music with people who can be respectful that my music taste is different than theirs - as is the case with every one of my friends. In fact my taste is so different to theirs that I had to go see Iron Maiden by myself. It was still awesome though. And, yes, I am aware that I am a geek.
you dunno what you're on about ST..a rush of blood to the head is one of the best albums recorded...ever
I have seen Public Enemy 3 times and the second time nobody would come with.... This XFactor and R n B mind numbing crap makes me feel angry but the masses lap it up
Don't get me started on how The X Factor will see the ruination of music as we would be here all night
I was lucky to have older siblings so I grew up listening to Bowie, the Kinks, the Beach Boys, Bob Dylan etc. as well as classical music. Coldplay are absolutely, ****ing, unequivocally ****e. Beige in music form with a whiny, middle-class, woe-is-me tosser for a lead singer.
My dad used to be Cradle of filths landlord in Ipswich, when they left there was a few TDK90s of some of their stuff.... We listened to it and laughed, my dad binned the cassettes ..... If i put them on E Bay now the Scandinavians would pay top $$$$$$$$$$$$$ now.....
