Personal insults, flawed arguments and petty name calling. Taking the moral high ground really isn't that difficult to achieve here. But I stick by what I said. Stop mentioning us and us jacks will stop posting. Easy.
But taking the moral higher ground when you started at gutter level is hardly a badge of honour. I very rarely mention the jacks unless a jack posts on here. Good man for sticking to your point of view very commendable. Isn't it easier to ignore something if you don't go looking for something?
I didn't contribute to any of the arguments on this thread, just offered a solution to keep jacks from posting here. Hardly gutter level.
My apologies, I did not mean to imply that you in particular started at gutter level, it was meant for those who do. But as I said if you go looking for something you will find it. The thread header does not mention Swansea at all, some content does but imply Swansea and do mention Swansea but you have to drill down into the the thread, ergo looking for something to react to.
I hate getting involved in these spats as they seem to focus more on the personalities of certain posters rather than what this board was set up for. However, and this will be my only comment on all of this, I have just had a look on the Swansea board and immediately noted two highly incendiary threads posted by Swansea fans about Cardiff City. What I didn't notice was any recent reactions from Cardiff fans on these threads. So, to be honest, to my untrained eye, there would appear to be a double standard at play in all of this. All I can suggest, is that instead of banning (unless really offensive) try ignoring. The main protagonists on both sides will soon get bored if their wind ups are ignored by the opposing fans. On a personal note, I find the continuing wumming from both sides very restrictive in being able to have reasoned debate about both clubs.
Most can not post as banned by their namby pamby mods Clingo ,did you also notice that the biggest thread they have outside the sticky thread is a one about Cardiff City? I will say again ...what has this thread and its title to do with a jack ?
tbf Clingo your club is getting more attention than usual due to a couple of reasons in particular. first of all the bizarre goings on behind the scenes and secondly the fact that we are now Premier League. last year it was pretty even stevens with banter coming from both directions but our success put paid to that and most bloobs are staying away, its only natural and it would be reversed if you were to get the upperhand. like you i enjoy the banter - you are our rivals afterall but unfortunately it doesnt take long before it becomes immature and poisoned on here and i cant be bothered with that. ive met many bloobs through my time working in Neath and Port Talbot and have had decent chats with them - even met one out here in Colombia and invited him for dinner! so lets try and keep the footie debate going and lets try and keep it tidy!

Cartoonhead, unfortunately we have lost too many good posters because of the constant bickering. It's hard to have a 'grown up' conversation on here these days. I'm all for a bit of banter but it's stopped being light hearted and has been malicious for some time. I commented on the 35000 thread on your board, asking what I thought was a reasonable question and had nothing but abuse. The funny thing is, after a stepped out of the debate the conversation became quite hostile among the swans fans. I rarely post on other boards but 'pop in' to sea what's happening with the odd comment if I feel I have sommething to add. Unfortunately, there are posters from both sides whose sole ambition is to wind up the opposition and go back to their own board to brag about what they've done. Not big, not clever and a waste of other people's time. It would be better (though not ideal) if everyone stuck to their own boards. Present company excepted, of course. Now bugger off!!! (got to keep up appearances )
