She is a proper **** stirrer, especially last year with Lewis.

For me, davidson with a 3d car that moves and a tv where he can focus in on areas of interest/changes to the RB etc trump the BBC's "old man with a clipboard" aproach.

Plus, I feel patronised when Jake humphry is on the tv. He is just a kids presenter got lucky.
 
I'm very happy with McKenzie's incisive interview technique. She went up tenfold in my esteem in Bahrain, interviewing Ecclestone. If there's one thing for which drivers should be held to account it's the quality of their driving and both Hamilton last season and Schumacher this season should be asked such questions. Hers is an infinitely better technique than that the asinine interviewers on Sky employ (see comparative interview of Ecclestone in Bahrain).

Style over substance is superficially alluring but personally I've yet to see Sky present very much in-depth interpretation of technical developments (although AG's comments have me intrigued and I might get round to watching their Spanish presentation). They simply present what has been added or changed without telling us why it should or didn't work, unless that changed last weekend. Kravitz is all wrong for the studio in my opinion and, although Davidson has taken to it like a duck to water since his first very nervy appearance, he's the only reason I can imagine watching now (I watched almost no Sky over the Spanish GP weekend). It's a fine line to walk, of course - boring the arse off sports fans and pissing off the geeks by dumbing everything down, but I still find myself more engaged by what Anderson has to say than anyone on Sky. The problem with the BBC is there's so little technical discussion, whereas Sky has plenty of time to show more.

Jake Humphrey vs. Simon Lazenby? I admit, Humphrey's Humphrey but he gets the vibe and knows what's what. Lazenby is godawful at everything, utterly cringeworthy.

Then again, I always loathed ITV. I just don't like the way commercial channels do things, although I appreciate the BBC has an unfair advantage in that respect.

to this day Prost is to a degree undervalued, dismissed as a calculating figure who played the percentages and when it came to ultimate speed was a poor second best to Ayrton Senna.

If Senna was still alive, though, he would almost certainly dispute that picture of Prost.

It was Prost's outstanding talent against which the great Brazilian measured himself. It was Prost's deceptive speed that pushed Senna to such heights. It was Prost who beat Senna on equal terms more than anyone else - his career win ratio is actually slightly higher.

If Senna was the greatest racing driver of all time, as many believe, Prost got closer to him than any contemporary.
