Yeah there's no serious complaints, although the "United always get a penalty at Old Trafford" theory isn't looking overly strong.

Unless Fergie comes up with something drastic in midfield, we will be bullied. The duo of Carrick or Fletch or Giggs or Scholes (any combo) is too immobile and weak to wrestle with theirs....so I'm up for Jones or Rooney in midfield. Let's give ourselves a chance. No old legs please.

I can see this going one of two ways.

Either they will stick four past us and make us look ****ing idiots or we'll nick it by a goal, one nil or two one.

I'd be happy to draw and move on. If we piss about like last season and TRY to draw, though, they will win with an horrible inevitability.

How, in the name of ****, did it become so that I am happy to draw with ****ing City???

Pretty much my sentiments. I think it may be a draw as i don`t think either manager will want to lose this. If one team wins it will probably be by the odd goal, as if we were to go behind i cannot see SAF allowing the players to go all gung-ho looking for an equaliser like in the 1-6 game.
Todays game is more about bragging rights than anything else. If we were in the same situation with only 1 or 2 games left in the season the value of a result would be so much greater.

    COME ON UTD!!!!!!!!

No great expectations from the match.

Could be 3 or 4 nil to City if they score early and we start chasing leaving big gaps in the defence and vulnerable to the counter. If we do a 'champions league' match, keeping it tight we might end up with 1-0 to us if we are lucky.

But we have got to cut these f**king defensive errors. This is a big 'but' <ok>

Today's going to be a strange one.

Dislike losing to City.... but they are the Champions and playing at home so you have to consider them favourites.

A win would be great for our title challenge but a loss would still leave us in a much better position than we usually are this time of year.

Id be ecstatic with a win, happy with a draw and not too disheartened with a loss, provided we play well and have our **** together.

    Pragmatic <laugh>

Realistic position. We could get a good result but as long as we don't get thrashed 6-1 we shouldn't be too downhearted. We have lots of key players missing.

    Agree with that,

Wouldn't mind seeing Scholes for the last 20 or so though depending on how the games going.
