Additional banners were considered before somewhere on here, and at that time people seemed to prefer other options. But if someone comes up with a design that people like, I've no problem using the money for that, if that's what the majority want. I'd support a regular flag fund too, but someone would have to create an account for donations, as the one we used was a short term arrangement with the Southern Supporters, and they now need it back. Maulled1904 who designed the banner says he has drawings of previous players and could create some for current ones. One suggestion was to create a "hall of fame" in the stands. There'd have to be some difference between them though. This one's amber, so Phil Brown would just blend in to one the same colour.

Come to think of it, what happened to those that were in the stands last season? Are they still there or have they been removed? Those were good.

I like the idea of a " hall of fame" of former players - but we' d need to know how many we could have & the debate on who to include would be "interesting" to say the least!

They were only thoughts. What if we tweak them? Instead of 'giving it wings' we could put 'make it able to fly'. I guess the other one could be, 'A tiger does't lose sleep over the opinion of Allam'.
It really happened, the general consensus from the presenters was that it was a nice but unnecessary gesture, though I only heard the first five minutes of the show.

Greetings. The fact finding mission in these tropical paradises is going really well, but getting on the web's a real pain out here. I've emailed the banner makers to check it's still on target for weekend, and I've emailed the club to check they're still on board and for their sugestions on where to display it.
