Thought McLaren was your best bet and this list does make me think Newcastle need to keep Pardew despite the fact he's pretty bad but who is better and available?

Maybe wait a few months and appoint an unemployed Moyes.

From that list Zola or Poyet - for an 'out of the blue' how about Venables?

Thank **** for that, I was worried there.

As I said in the edit, I think we're in for a surprise, someone not on your list and I haven't a clue who, just hope it's soon cos the suspense is killing me.

They are not up to it Ancellotti Hiddink, Wenger are the only ones for me. Redknapp will not move north of his front garden so he is out.

Why Get Pulis to play a dog **** ball in the air direct Style when we've just proved we can play direct through the middle with the ball on the deck?

Huge step back, Our squad is capable of more than Pulis.

Pulis couldn't develop an illness let alone a squad of footballers. He's one dimensional and out of date. Bit like you Cest <whistle> ;)

I'm going for Ragnick, he has a 46% win ratio over 600 games, and with 6 different teams (albeit all in the Bundesliga). He has had a year out of management and may be refreshed and ready for a big challenge.

My 2nd choice would probably be ...... None of the above !!!! They are all inexperienced ....... or very rusty.... so at a push ...... I would choose Pulis.

Especially as you didn't have the balls to quote him out. Must have been hoping you could slip it in unnoticed with no comeback. <whistle>

Needs must when the devil dances.

We are right up to our arseholes in the mire and although Poyet would bring a long term benefit or even the fella Rangnik (who would be a bit of an Ellis coup imo) but for a short term fix which seemed to me to be the direction from Ellis Shorts notes yesterday) then Pulis will get the nod.

Like I've said its not my choice but I can see the reasons behind it.

As for being one dimensional - I hate that ****ing boy band to be totally honest.

We both agree with the problem and situation, just the man to do it is where we differ.

As for the bold bit, I'd correct you but I'd come across as such a sado. I blame Nieces for educating me in such ways (I've never heard a full song of theirs though so I have some reprieve at least). :p

I have an 8 year old daughter so no choice but to hear them? Lol

Don't get me wrong Bri, I'm not saying I want Pulis but just have a feeling that's where we will head and I can understand why.
I'd like Zola or Poyet now for the style of football they would bring.

Also, it wouldn't be the worst appointment out there. Pulis has kept Stoke in the EPL and taken them into a European campaign losing only to Valencia and a cup final which they narrowly lost to big spenders Man City. He has over 450 top flight games as manager and plenty of experience.

But he's dated mate. I just can't get on board with the idea. I'll back him if he's hired 100% but he's still a big no from me. Do you think he'll take a contract till the end of the season anyway? I think we can find a Head Coach who can do us well now and in the future. Don't see why it has to be either one for the long term or one for short term when there's plenty of name out their who could do both.
