Did you see a real one or a kit car remake?Bit rare now-a-days
To tax a 300 here would work out at CAD$2,510 and the petrol is CAD$2.22 per liter
(P.S. Wubba, how's your A8 working out for you? Is there much lag or is it twin turboed like the 520d?)

Not like they cant afford the ticket !
Its very good actually, maybe too much so. Slightly anonymous which is good for work but it doesnt cut a dash like an old jag / daimler hence my recent acquisition of a slightly rusty 81 Double Six
)Yes, the AWD on the 300 is great, but vehicle came with a set of brand new all season tyres, so does not have the same traction of winter tyres, with a more aggressive tread and softer rubber compound. Also the ESP sensor (skid control) is not working (ABS is fine though), so I do not have that driver aid available.
Unfortunately it definitely doesn't compare to my retired Toyota Corolla 4WD wagon, which admittedly I was driving with 13" winter tyres. The 300 has 18" rims so a winter set would be quite expensive to cover the next 3 months of driving. Sometimes you can get lucky and find a good used set already mounted & balanced on rims on Kijiji (a local version of eBay).
Just moved it over Killy, don't want to derail that other thread.
Its interesting that your old beat up wagon (car not wife) was more capable than your modern motor. They don't make 'em like they used to eh?
What mpg are you returning from your Chrysler?
I'm surprised you haven't gone for the Falcon, Aussie?
You're obviously in the Ford camp as opposed to Holden eh?
