Just to add to this - Seemens explicitly called out Alex Crook and said he has no inside information and knows nothing about Ings contract - he just happens to live locally. He went on to say that most of what he says is inspired by Crook's opinion, not fact - he used the fact Crook always links Ralph to Manu as an example. This is purely because he is a Manu fan and would like Ralph at his club. Pretty much confirmed what we all thought then
Yeah, we really shouldn't take Alex Crook seriously. I'll always remember him for the denial of us signing Charlie Austin, only for him to sign an hour or so later.

Absolutely. He's replaced Alan Nixon in that regard. Unfortunately, not enough people have yet cottoned on, and as such Crook often gets mentioned on here.
Wonder if Semmens has a discreet Twitter account to know what Crook’s all about? Presumably the club will keep an eye on what the journalists who cover us are saying online. I’ve said this on here before but I did some work experience for Crook’s news agency a few years ago. I basically spent two weeks creating transfer rumours which he sold to tabloids.
