The Ashes

It happens more often than you might think, also they will stop if the rain has waterlogged the course.
Course I play on in Jakarta had a golfer killed by a lightening strike. I played the following week and landed my drive right in the spot he got hit. Gave myself a free drop as the grass had been burnt away and the sand underneath had been fused into glass.

Anyway its absolutely pissing it down here in Manchester at the moment. Suspect there wont be much play tomorrow.

Local rules?

Local rules?
Golf at the hobby level is open to any rules you require to make your round more enjoyable.

It’s like Dorty Dogsbreath claiming he has shot a 76 but actually using 3 balls for each shot and taking the best of them each time. Under the R&A rules, Local Plodders Clauses Sub-Section 2, Item 10,Part 3 this is perfectly acceptable.

Nice, being hungover this morning, I slept through all the women's football ****e.

Was looking forward to watching this, but today's ****ed as well, win ain't happening.

Typical.

Stokes is carrying an injury and isn’t bowling full steam

Moen is carrying an injury restricting his bowling.

Wood is carrying an injury restricting his bowling.

Anyway time for another wicket.

England will now hopefully stop crying about the rain in the 4th test given Australia were going to bat it out and win today.

A good series even as a non cricket fan, but no doubting Australia deserved to win.
