They should show patience with Agar. He is only 19 and they need to rebuild their team.

 

Of course, his batting alone means he's not a pure luxury in the side anyway, but nothing I've seen of his bowling has given me any reason to believe he will ever be a top level international spin-bowler. Like you say, he is only 19 and he could still improve significantly, but looking past the hype of his magnificent innings on debut, I've not seen anything yet to make me think he'll be more than a decent all-rounder. Like Brendy says, I think the Aussies search for a front-line international spin bowler (Never mind a Warne replacement!) will continue.

 

And Soul Limbo by Booker T & the MGs plays out TMS at the end of the day. I've got a Booker album somewhere.

Yeah, I agree. A lot of people downgrade Booker T&tMGs but I really like them. Obviously Green Onions is the other track most people remember, but there are loads of others. The album I've got is called Universal Language and some of the tracks on it are really excellent.

I like Bukka (sometimes Booker) White. Does that count.

Every time anyone on here mentions Booker T and the MG's I am reminded that they were the first multiracial band ever to tour in the USA. The great Steve Cropper who died recently was, of course, white.
