60 balls left doesn't sound as bad as 10 overs.

always next time otherwise that will make it TEN Aussie wins in a row, so I hope you're supporting the underdogs in the next encounter.

So near and yet so far, I guess Australia just had to win on Australia day.

Bopara's dismissal summed up England's tour

Waste of time, a decent batter would have won that for England, he scored 25 off 44 at the end of a limited over game.

BBC saying "Captain Alastair Cook will miss England's limited-overs tour of the West Indies which starts in February"

Probably sensible as he needs a rest - they say Broad expected to be captain

To me Cook's captaincy has been poor, he has lacked strong leadership, been tactically niave and far too cautious in his field settings and allowed his bowlers to indulge themselves far too much, this final match Root just gave Australia his wicket when England were in a strong position, Bopara lost any sense of the game and need for momentum, considering that they only needed 6 runs when the final wicket was lost Bopara's feat of getting completetly stuck in the crease for ball after ball cost England this match and some pride at the end of a dreadful tour.

We should have won that one day series. Morale at an all time low. How we lost today was quite incredible.

Sorry to say but it is even worse than it looks a few weeks ago the Aus squad to tour South Africa was named in the last two games not more than four of that squad were in the Australian team

I reckon England might be in for 2 tough years. The Aussies went through this recently. Whilst I think its more a case of us being **** than them being brilliant, they have improved. We just have to try and get some young players in the team, and improve as we go. Gonna be a chastening period at times I suspect. We've had a good run of competing with the best since 2006.
