As you can tell from my avator Oddy Cobain is my favourite artist of all time. His rendition of Where Did You Sleep Last Night in that unplugged performance is unbelievable. There was a recent Kurt Cobain expedition in Co Kildare this summer I visted which his family came over for, was great to see all the rare pictures etc.I heard his estate makes more money now than Elvis which is mad when you think about it.I think he would be alive today if he hadnt met that tramp Courtney Love, I dont go by the rumours she had him killed but she certainly helped drive him over the edge, along with fame and drugs of course.

Spot on Ste about Courtney, she didn't help him one bit in my mind, but he was troubled himself wasn't he... Have to admit, the Nevermind album was one of the first albums that all of my mates got into without being a 'grunge' fan, probably off the back of Ten Spirit really, so dosn't surprise me that they are still turning over the royalties now all these years later...

Speaking of that Unplugged set I have to pick out 'Where did you sleep last night' where, as you say, they played songs that were not of their own makng and in this ones case well out of his vocal range in terms of him reaching the true notes. A remarkable man who has been sadly missed over these past years...

The mighty Joanna Connor, thought by many to be the best female blue's guitarist in the business. The lady's a maelstrom of sheer power.

Shame about the quality of the film, but the performances more than makes up for it. The title is wrong. The song is actually called Country Honk, it's from the album Let It Bleed.

The Boss often takes requests from the crowd, and with the band's help, gets the thing rocking. Some people think it's all fake, but apparently it's for real. Here is a classic from a 2013 Laizig concert in front of 45,000 fans. He employs the best.

I am now a massive Lady Gaga fan. Amazing transformation. That film has brought out the country and Western in LG. Could she be the next Nashville star?

I was listening to a verve song today and someone pointed out it was very similar to this song by Tim Buckley. I had never heard it before and it caught me straight away so thought I would share
