Obviously a man of breeding! The words might not be correct however: I spent most of my money on women, drink and horses then squandered the rest!
That very talented footballer, Stan Bowles, made similar comments in his autobiography. Sadly, Stan is very ill and, so I understand, is now in the last stages of Alzheimers. Stan certainly lived life to the full, that's for damn sure.
I've tried to track down what this video is all about. I can't find anything on the film by the German director Gottfried Mentor. There are all sorts of conflicting thoughts online about, so I figured you guys would be able to solve it for me. After all, I'm in the presence of genius on this site.
Earlier today I came across a small clip from the movie The Ballard Of Buster Scruggs. It was so unusual that I went in search of the full movie. It turned out to be a Coen Brothers film centered around 6 small, individual clips. The first of which was the title of the movie. It had not only a fresh feel about it, but was odd and funny. From there, each of the stories led onto some strange and haunting experiences. By the end of the 6 stories, I was left a little unsettled. It's just gone 11:47 pm and I'm about to shower and hit the sheets. I know I'll lie there for quite a while before I drop off. For a free view, the link below might help. It did for me. http://0123putlocker.com/watch/Xvjjmzve-the-ballad-of-buster-scruggs.html
Until about an hour ago, I'd never heard of Little Bob. A forum member pointed me in the right direction.
**** Brexit the Boss has just announced that he'll be touring the UK next year. The outlook for 2019 just improved markedly.
Saw 'Nils' many times before he became an 'E-Streeter' and saw Springsteen with Nils on his UK debut tour as a member of the E Street Band at St James' Park, Newcastle. A 'Like' is not enough; the man is a f****n' musical genius! Great unplugged version of the song Would by the Seattle band Alice in Chains. The creepy bass riff at the start and the singers powerfull voice together makes this one of my favourite tunes of the early 90s.Sadly the singer Layne Stanley passed away in 1998 from a drugs overdose
